Etherboot uses the BOOTP network protocol that supports Linux kernels that are tagged using the Etherboot mknbi utility. This boot ROM does not support RPL, NetWare or PXE network boot protocol. If you require PXE, RPL, NetWare, DHCP or BOOTP network boot protocols then you must purchase the 3Com 3CMBA-D Boto ROM instead.
